About our manufacturing services
CIE design, manufacture and maintain high quality engineered mining solutions, which perform each and every time in the toughest of environmental and operational conditions, around Australia and the world. Founded over 20 years ago, to deliver off the shelf as well as customised product and equipment solutions for the metalliferous mining industry, CIE design and manufacture everything we can in-house.
We have extensive CAD / CNC workshop capabilities in Queensland and pride ourselves on our product integrity, quality, delivery and genuine after sales service. We are very familiar with protection requirements as per the latest AS/NZ 4871. We build to customer specs or are happy to offer CIE’s Mining Economy range. CIE have extensive access to Ampcontrol’s new range of protection devices specifically designed for the Australian metalliferous mining market.

At CIE we understand you might not need your equipment for a long time. You might need it for a few weeks or months, while you complete a component of specialist works, or maintenance, or exploration, or disaster recovery. That’s why we’re proud to operate a substantial hire equipment division that specialises in diesel power generation, substations and switchboards and mobile lighting.
